I have an hp g72-b66us notebook which has Realtek RTL8102E/RTL8103E Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20) on windows 7/32bit. But in other devices, Network controller driver is showing yellow indication. If I open it, it shows 'The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)'. PCI Simple Communications Controller and imaging device: lexmark x422 are also not working. Please help me to resolve this problem

Hi:

Try the Realtek NIC driver directly from the Realtek site.

Download and install the 5th one on the list (Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program (SID:1556944)).

For the PCI device you need this driver:

Imaging device is the scanner portion of your Lexmark printer that needs the driver installed.

Go to the lexmark site and download the full feature driver for your model and that should take care if that issue.

but the network controller still doesn't work. I get the same message after installing the setup you referred me: 'driver not found'

Please post the hardware ID for that ethernet controller.

My Network Controller works now!

I didn't install the other network driver (broadcom, for my laptop). Once I did, everything was ok!
