  Linking PSN to Epic account problem

  Hey guys, so my friend is trying to link his PSN to an epic game account. He says he hasn't made an Epic account before, but when he tries to link the new account he made, it says his PSN is already linked to an Epic account. So I have two questions: 1) When he downloaded the game on PS4 and entered an email, is that considered to be his Epic account? If so what would his password be? (If he were to login to his account on PC) His regular PSN password? And 2) Is there an easy way to see what Epic account is linked to your PSN? Thanks.

  I can try and help you with some of this! So in regards to how to tell if your account is linked to Epic, it's actually quite easy if you know where to find it. Go to the top of this page while logged in, place your mouse cursor over your account name at the top right, click 'account'. After that, navigate to 'Linked Accounts' on the left side of the screen. This will tell you all of the platforms that your Epic account is linked to. For any other questions regarding this please submit a support ticket at http://fortnitehelp.epicgames.com/

  I have linked my PSN account to my Epic Games account but it still says I still have to buy the game on the PS4

    If u have a Xbox live account link I couldn't link it either but I just unlinked my Xbox live account to connect my PSN account and it work so if u have a Xbox live account licked that can be y

  i can't link my psn account although my play station account is connected but when i link my psn acount it doesn't show the link your psn tab but there is a link xbl tab why?

  I make a New Account on the PlayStation with New E-Mail acc. And than i Start the game and I can signed in and link my Account from the epic game launcher

  Side note I wish my Xbox Live account would connect with my PS4/PC account here.
  My PC/PS4 rank is tied but had to start over on Xbox, kind of silly.

  Can I have some help please. I was originally logged into fortnite on my other psn account. when I switched psn accounts I tried logging into fortnite with my epic games account and it says your account is already linked.Please help I have spent money on this game and don't want it to be wasted

  Im having same problem as LLcoolchest. I had an old PSN account and now the epic games account tells me its associated to an account already but i need to change it. So frustrating and I'm sure not that uncommon. Please advise how to reset. Deleting and reinstalling hasn't helped.

    if you play on ps4 or xbox then you have to logg out off your ps4 or xbox account and then try to link it works for me

  I have the same problem. I tied it to an epic account and BOOM everything reset. I don't have access to STW anymore (I bought it in August) and my BR is level 1 when I was in the upper 50's and the stuff I had bought POOF doesn't exist anymore.

  I was making a Epic Games account because I wanted to play with a friend, he has PC, and I have Playstation4. I got Fortnite months ago and I skipped the 'Make a Epic Games account' when I first downloaded the game on Ps4 (I did not know that later down the road you would need one to play cross platform) I went to link my psn with the Epic games account and it would not work. From the research I did, it said that you have to make an alternate account because that was apparently the issue from not making account on Ps4 right away. So I made an alternate account and it still did not link my psn account with my Epic Games account. After hours of trying I gave up. A few days later I have logged on to Ps4 to play Fortnite to see that I have lost all of my stats, more importantly my in game purchases!! Somehow I have had my psn account accidentally linked to the Alternate Epic Games account! This wouldn't be a problem if I used my real Email address and clicked 'forgot password' But that was not an option because when I went to make the quick alternate account and typed in my Email address it said 'Email already in use' Therefore my psn account is linked to an Epic Games account that I cannot access on an Email address that is nonexistent! This is very upsetting that I have lost not only many hours of stats but my in game purchases that were made with real money! I finally recieved a email with some steps, the steps they gave me said make another account and the 'ghost' account will be unlocked, this did not work and i emailed Epic Games support back, telling them what happend. I said at this point I dont care about my stats, i just want a refund or the items I have bought or replaced.. I have been ignored, all this happend because I was forced to make a account to play with a friend cross platform, and theres a loophole in their system with the 'ghost' account ********, Now I have lost things that I have paid for and have recived no help at all. They should atleast warn their massive community, or atleast help them, because i am not the only one.

  Same problem here..
  The first time I playes on ps4 I skip the linkage to an epic game account. Now I can't anymore log with an epic game account (I would like to play on PC at the same time and ply with friends in cross platform). I have to play ith 2 different account on pc and ps4, what a ****.. fix it please. We should be able to log in and out from the PS4

  same problem here.. i skipped the epic games account on the ps4, now i don't seem to be able to undo that mistake.
  Can we please get a solution explored. even if it has to be a paid one with timegates to stop people name change griefing.
